Fall is coming.

Hi,

I got a chill the other day shaking out our bath mat on the front porch shirtless. It reminded me that it isn't always warm in Winnipeg. Sometimes it gets the opposite of that, which is cold. I don't mind though, I like wearing sweaters and scarves, it does more for my frame than tank tops and bathing suits. September reminds me that there is a winter, and that my nose gets runny, and that the brothers' Taronno will have aged another year in a month.

Bye.

My Apologies.

It is too clear and so it is hard to see.
A dunce once searched for a fire with a
lighted lantern.
Had he known what fire was,
He could have cooked his rice much sooner.

Mmy apppollogies for nnot writing sooonerr. We play a show in two days. I look forward to it. I miss being on stage. I like being on stage. It will be fun to be at a show with you fine folks who so loyally read my blogs. Heh.

-----

We got a van and I think we're going to use it to tour a little bit in October. It will be nice prep for the release of our new album 'The Elder Wand'. That's not what it is called. I just finished reading the last Harry Potter book. I really liked it. Harry Potter is a gallant and selfless young man, his friends are pretty incredible, too. My friends are great, too, though, so I'm not too jealous. And they're real.

On my honeymoon I did these things with my wife:

- Stayed at a nice cabin. Hung out with the lovely Titchners. Met some new friends.
- Learned how to wakeboard with the lovely Titchners and our new friends. Fell, spluttered in the water a lot.
- Hung out in Toronto.
- Went to Beerfest with manager Vince and watched Vince play with his band 'Spirit of the West' (found out they are very, very excellent (which I suspected all along)).
- Hung out with producer Michael and his lovely lady Jennifer at the infamous 'House of Wraps'.
- Went to 'We Will Rock You' (the musical). I actually really liked it. The story was ridiculous, which is what musicals are all about, and the singers were very talented, the band was also quite good.
- Stayed at a couple of nice hotels. One gave us complimentary relaxing CD's and incense. They also had a very expensive spa that we didn't indulge in.
- Shopped.
- Went to CANADA'S WONDERLAND! Rollercoasters are so much fun. I would ride them all day if my body was allowed to take as much gravol as I would need. It left our necks rather sore, though, and the bed kept moving when we were trying to sleep.
- Ate at Salad King.

It was really fun! Now I'm looking forward to playing a show.

Best,
David
