I really like the idea of being good at fixing things, building things, you know, being a real man. Unfortunately, I'm not. We've started the renovations on our bedroom and I don't really know what I'm doing. I just leave it to my father-in-law and father to tell me what to do. Although, I don't think I'm very good at that, either. Like the other day when 'we' were ripping out the wall, along with studs and planks and stuff. I just sorta yanked at things with my little toy sized crow bar and spindly forearms, and tried not to get hurt. I didn't feel entirely immasculated, I'm just learning.
Jason just booked the Quinzmas date today. December 22nd.
Quinzy is heading out East following the
Western Canadian Music Awards. So if you live in the GTA, we're heading out your way, ok? Cool? Ok, great. Oh yeah, the WCMA's are in Moose Jaw, so it will be our first performance in, well, Moose Jaw. I'm not too worried, I've been told we have a pretty decent following out there, so, yeah, I mean, it'll be fine, no, it'll be great. I think J.P. Hoe is going, and I know Vince is going, so yeah, it'll be fine.
Anyhow, Sandy and I are in the middle of helping J.P. record his new album. We're rehearsing the tunes, and go into the recording mode in a couple weeks. It's fun.
Also, we're starting to get some mixes from our album, which are sounding spectacular.
I think
that'll do.
